I offer prospective clients an initial free 20 minute telephone or online consultation, during which we will talk about what you would like to achieve from counselling. This also gives us the opportunity to get to know each other a little. It is very important that you feel I am someone you can talk to comfortably.
If we decide to work together, we will agree a time and date for our first 50 minute session. All subsequent meetings will take place at the same time each week. We will also agree whether we meet face-to-face, online or by telephone.
Sessions are 50 minutes once a week. Regular weekly sessions help us keep momentum and allows me to be there to support you if you find the issues difficult to talk about.
